A recent analysis of 2024 plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) reveals a growing disparity between their official emissions ratings and actual performance on the road. The study found that real-world emissions for these models were nearly six times higher than the figures reported under the Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicle Test Procedure (WLTP).
