Content Policy

This policy applies to every submission EV Digest accepts — sponsored articles, club directory listings, advertising creative, and reader messages. We screen every submission for offensive content before publication, including with an automated moderation pass. Borderline submissions are held for human review.

Not allowed

• Hate, harassment, slurs, or attacks on protected groups.
• Sexual content, nudity, or content involving minors in any unsafe context.
• Graphic violence, gore, or incitement to violence.
• Illegal-activity promotion, dangerous misinformation, or scams.
• Doxxing, impersonation, or defamation.
• Misleading "editorial-looking" advertising, undisclosed endorsements, or commission-driven "best-of" guides where affiliate payouts dictate selection.
• Malware, phishing, or links to deceptive destinations.

Sponsored content

Sponsored articles are clearly labeled and walled off from editorial. EV Digest does not fact-check sponsored submissions — the submitter is responsible for accuracy, licensing, and disclosure. We reserve the right to refuse or remove any submission at any time.

Advertising

All paid placements carry an "Advertisement" or "Sponsored" label. Empty ad inventory is hidden; readers never see placeholder slots. Targeting based on sensitive categories (health, sexual orientation, immigration status, political affiliation) is prohibited.
