MG plans to introduce its first plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) featuring semi-solid-state battery technology, starting with the MG ZS PHEV in 2027. This move signals a significant step in battery innovation for the automaker's electrified lineup. The new battery tech will also be deployed across two additional PHEV SUV models.
