Subaru Previews Next-Gen In-House AWD with 510-HP Electric Wagon Prototype
Subaru has developed an independent 510-horsepower electric wagon prototype, stepping away from joint engineering with partner Toyota to showcase its own EV hardware. The dual-motor test mule integrates bespoke control units and lighter packaging to maintain the brand's signature all-wheel-drive dynamics. The experimental platform will serve as the technical foundation for future production electric vehicles developed entirely in-house.
