Pennsylvania Expands NEVI Footprint With $37M Round for Philadelphia EV Charging
Pennsylvania is allocating another $37 million in federal National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure funding to add 515 public charging ports across the greater Philadelphia area. Administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, the rollout will include both fast chargers and curbside Level 2 infrastructure to serve drivers without dedicated home parking. The investment extends the state's lead in rapidly deploying federal funds to build out accessible public charging corridors.
