Tesla Adds Heat Pump Optimization to European Powerwall 3 Systems
Tesla has launched a new Heat Pump Optimization feature for Powerwall 3 and Powerwall 3P systems operating in Europe. The software directs compatible heat pumps to run when surplus solar generation is available, effectively storing excess electricity as hot water. Because the functionality relies on a regional European hardware standard, Tesla has not announced plans to expand the tool to North America.
