Audi Tests New Entry-Level A2 e-tron to Replace A1 and Q2 in 2025
Audi is preparing to launch a new compact electric vehicle, potentially reviving the 'A2' nameplate, to serve as its entry-level offering. This new EV will indirectly replace both the A1 supermini and Q2 crossover, streamlining Audi's smaller vehicle lineup. Positioned as an electric counterpart to the A3 hatchback and Q2 crossover, the A2 e-tron will be built on the Volkswagen Group's MEB platform.
