Powerdot and Hubject Roll Out Plug & Charge Across 7,000 European EV Stalls
Charging network operator Powerdot has partnered with Hubject to implement Plug & Charge across more than 7,000 charging points throughout Europe. Based on the ISO 15118 standard, the technology enables compatible electric vehicles to authenticate and initiate payment automatically once connected. The upgrade eliminates the need for physical RFID cards or specialized mobile applications at supported locations.
