Police in Seoul have booked 80 Tesla drivers for utilizing unauthorized aftermarket modules designed to unlock Full Self-Driving capabilities that are not permitted in the country. Investigators also confiscated 21 of the illicit hardware devices during the operation. The enforcement marks the largest effort to date combating regional jailbreak tools used to bypass Tesla's software geofences.
