Jeff Bezos-backed electric truck startup Slate Auto has launched its inaugural brick-and-mortar "experience center" in Chicago's Near West Side. This new facility offers Midwest fleet buyers and media a hands-on opportunity to test drive Slate's electric vehicles and learn more about what the company touts as America's most affordable new vehicle.
