Allye Debuts 400 kW Fast Charger Powered by Repurposed EV Batteries
Cleantech startup Allye has developed a 400 kW DC fast charger that incorporates second-life EV battery packs to bypass expensive electrical grid upgrades. The self-contained unit can trickle-charge from a standard low-voltage connection while still delivering ultra-fast charging speeds to multiple vehicles. This plug-and-play solution allows fleet depots and temporary sites to deploy rapid charging in hours rather than waiting months for utility interconnections.
