Zoox Secures U.S. Approval for Steering Wheel-Free Robotaxis to Offer Paid Rides

Amazon's autonomous vehicle subsidiary, Zoox, has received a significant regulatory green light to operate its purpose-built robotaxis for commercial paid services in the United States. This marks the first time that a vehicle designed without traditional manual controls like a steering wheel has been cleared for such widespread public use, signifying a major step forward for autonomous transport.
