Waymo Selects Toyota bZ4X Electric SUV for Next-Gen Robotaxi Fleet

Waymo is expanding its autonomous vehicle lineup by partnering with Toyota to deploy custom-built bZ4X electric SUVs. The electric crossovers will feature factory-integrated Waymo Driver hardware built in Japan, with initial commercial testing scheduled to begin in Tokyo by 2027.
