Toyota Recalls Nearly 31,000 RAV4 Prime PHEVs Over Potential Power Loss
USToyota
Toyota has issued a recall for approximately 30,978 RAV4 Prime plug-in hybrid vehicles from the 2026 model year. The issue stems from an Engine Control Unit (ECU) software fault that could cause the electric motor to shut down while driving, potentially leading to a loss of power. Owners are advised to bring their vehicles to a dealership for a free software update to resolve this critical safety concern.
