Tesla is expanding its Powershare bidirectional charging system to include Model 3 and Model Y vehicles, enabling them to provide backup power to homes. This new Vehicle-to-Home (V2H) functionality, when paired with a Powerwall 3, offers owners extended energy independence during outages.
