Tesla Driver Alleges FSD Was Active While Asleep Before Crashing Into CHP Vehicle

A 22-year-old Tesla driver claims he was asleep with Full Self-Driving (FSD) engaged when his vehicle collided with a California Highway Patrol (CHP) car at an accident scene, injuring two officers. This incident in Fairfield, CA, marks another instance of a Tesla striking emergency vehicles, an issue under federal investigation for several years. Dashcam footage of the impact has been released by the CHP.
