Stellantis to Launch Robotaxi-Ready Platforms for Vans and Small Cars

Stellantis is developing new platforms designed from the ground up to support Level 4 autonomous driving, making them ideal for future robotaxi services. This move aims to streamline the integration process for operators, eliminating the need for complex retrofitting. The first vehicles, including adapted vans and future small cars, are set to begin trials in collaboration with Wayve and Uber this year, with initial deployments in cities like London.
