Quebec Reduces 2035 ZEV Mandate to 80% of New Vehicle Sales

Citing ongoing supply chain challenges and international trade issues, Quebec's Environment Minister has announced a revision to the province's Zero-Emission Vehicle (ZEV) mandate. The new target scales back the requirement for automakers from 100% to 80% ZEV sales by 2035. This adjustment reflects a more cautious outlook on the pace of EV adoption and market readiness.
