California utility PG&E is significantly expanding its Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) program, enabling more EV owners to use their vehicles for home backup power. The initiative now includes models from Tesla, Kia, Volvo, Polestar, and Nissan, with incentives reaching up to $17,000 for participants. Owners can enroll until June 30, 2027, leveraging new partnerships with Bidirectional Energy and PowerFlex to support grid resilience and personal energy independence.
