NHTSA Issues Recall Notice for Rivian R1T and R1S Due to Air Bag System Software

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has issued a recall for certain Rivian R1T pickup trucks and R1S SUVs. The recall addresses a software issue within the air bag system that could prevent proper deployment in a crash, increasing the risk of injury. Rivian will provide an over-the-air (OTA) software update to resolve this problem.
