LG Energy Solution Begins Production at Michigan Gigafactory

LG Energy Solution has officially commenced battery production at its new gigafactory in Holland, Michigan. This facility, representing a significant investment, is poised to supply advanced battery cells primarily for electric vehicles manufactured by various OEMs, including a reported focus on models for Toyota. The plant aims to produce up to 35 GWh of batteries annually, creating 1,700 jobs in the process.
