LEVC Plans Next-Gen Range-Extended Black Cab, Production May Shift Outside UK
The London Electric Vehicle Company (LEVC), owned by Geely, is preparing to launch a successor to its iconic range-extended TX black cab by 2027. This next-generation model is necessitated by evolving regulatory standards, though its production might move from the UK as the Ansty plant transitions to a different manufacturing focus. The current TX model, which utilizes a range-extended electric powertrain, will see its final assembly completed this year.
