Infineon has launched a new high-voltage battery management system reference design centered around its AURIX TC4x microcontroller. The platform allows computationally demanding battery modeling algorithms to execute directly on the primary battery management unit. Designed to streamline pack and cell monitoring, the architecture aims to help automakers enhance EV battery safety, efficiency, and real-time state-of-health tracking.
