Hyundai is bringing an Extended-Range Electric Vehicle (EREV) version of its popular Santa Fe SUV to the U.S. market, with production slated for its Alabama plant. This new variant aims to offer drivers the best of both worlds: electric-only driving combined with a gasoline generator for extended journeys, targeting over 600 miles of total range.
