Hyundai Santa Fe EREV Expected by 2027 with Extended Electric Range

Hyundai is reportedly planning to introduce an Extended-Range Electric Vehicle (EREV) version of its popular Santa Fe SUV by 2027. This new powertrain would allow the Santa Fe to operate primarily as an EV with a gasoline engine acting solely as a generator, offering a significantly longer electric-only range than a conventional plug-in hybrid.
