GM Aims to Halve EV Development Time Using AI and Simulation

General Motors is aggressively adopting artificial intelligence and advanced simulation techniques to drastically reduce its vehicle development cycles. This move is a direct response to the rapid pace set by Chinese EV manufacturers, with GM striving to bring new models to market in two years or less. The initiative is spearheaded by former Tesla and Aurora executive Sterling Anderson, now GM's chief product officer.
