Ford Integrates Apple Maps into New EV Platform, Enhances BlueCruise

Ford is set to embed Apple Maps directly into its upcoming Universal Electric Vehicle Platform, beginning with a $30,000 midsize pick-up truck slated for a 2027 release. This integration aims to provide advanced navigation features, including natural language directions, real-time traffic updates, and intuitive search functionality. Additionally, the automaker is updating its BlueCruise advanced driver-assistance system, incorporating Apple Maps data to further refine its hands-free driving capabilities.
