First Geely-Owned Lotus EVs Arrive in Canada This July Under New Trade Deal

The first shipment of 2025 Lotus Emeya electric sedans and Eletre electric SUVs will reach Canada in July, benefiting from a special trade agreement between China and Canada. This deal, brokered through a memorandum of understanding, allows Geely-produced EVs to enter the Canadian market at a lower tariff rate, fostering new competition and choices within the EV segment.
