Department of Energy Unveils National Battery Blueprint and Manufacturing Accelerator

The U.S. Department of Energy has published a comprehensive national battery strategy alongside the launch of the Battery Manufacturing Accelerator consortium. Dubbed BattMan, the initiative aims to strengthen the domestic supply chain and scale American battery production for electric vehicles and energy storage. The push focuses on reducing reliance on foreign processing while accelerating commercialization of next-generation cell technologies.
