Canada Sees Strong Growth in ZEV Sales, Led by Quebec and British Columbia

Canada's market share for Zero-Emission Vehicles (ZEVs) climbed significantly to 27.7 percent by the close of 2023, according to new data from Statistics Canada. This surge brought ZEVs to 12.1 percent of all new light-duty vehicle registrations, with Quebec and British Columbia maintaining their leadership in adoption rates.
