New Battery-Buffered DC Fast Charger Uses Repurposed Packs to Deliver 400 kW
Clean tech startup Allye Energy has introduced a high-power, battery-buffered charging station constructed using second-life electric vehicle battery packs. The system delivers peak outputs of up to 400 kW without requiring expensive utility grid overhauls or triggering peak demand charges. By pairing localized energy storage with high-power dispensing, the platform offers commercial fleets and charging operators an accelerated path to DC fast charging.
