Volkswagen Weighs Bringing Xpeng-Developed EV Architecture to European Models

The Volkswagen Group is considering deploying its China Electronic Architecture across as much as 75% of its core European lineup. Co-developed with Chinese automaker Xpeng to cut manufacturing and software expenses, the platform could underpin future electric and combustion vehicles across the VW, Cupra, and Skoda brands.
