Volvo Prepares Affordable SPA3 Electric Crossover to Succeed the EX40

Volvo is readying a more accessible electric SUV to replace the aging EX40, building on its upcoming SPA3 architecture. Targeted primarily at Europe's competitive compact crossover segment, the new model is scheduled for release around 2027 as part of the automaker's push to launch 13 global vehicles by 2030.
