EUVolkswagen
Volkswagen has converted space at its flagship Zwickau electric vehicle plant to systematically take apart older test mules and used EVs. The automaker aims to process roughly 4,100 vehicles annually to salvage valuable components, from batteries to electronics, for a certified factory-backed used parts business. The circular economy initiative creates a new revenue stream while easing raw material demands across its European operations.
