Tesla Acknowledges Cybertruck Power Conversion System Defect, Extends Warranty

Tesla has admitted to a defect in the power conversion system (PCS) of Cybertrucks produced before 2026, leading the company to extend the warranty for affected vehicles to eight years or 150,000 miles. This decision follows months of owners incurring significant repair costs for a component Tesla now concedes falls short of its reliability standards.
