Tesla's 'Accordion' Supercharger Aims to Accelerate Network Expansion
Tesla has unveiled a new "Accordion" Supercharger design, a pre-assembled unit capable of deploying 16 charging stalls more rapidly and at a significantly lower cost. This innovative approach, which could make all future Supercharger installations factory-built, is designed to invigorate the company's charging infrastructure growth after a period of slower buildout. The move comes as Tesla pushes to expand access to its widely used charging network.
