TDK Unveils Next-Gen High-Voltage Contactors for 1,000-Volt EV Architectures

TDK has launched its new HVC28 and HVC29 series of gas-filled high-voltage DC contactors designed for next-generation electrified powertrains and industrial applications. The automotive-grade HVC28 supports switching voltages up to 1,000 volts DC, targeting the strict safety and isolation requirements of modern 800V-plus EV battery packs and fast-charging systems.
