Swiss retail chain Otto’s is completely overhauling its commercial logistics by ordering 22 Mercedes-Benz eActros 600 battery-electric trucks to replace its combustion-powered fleet. The heavy-duty electric haulers will handle regional distribution routes directly from the company's central logistics hub in Sursee. Deliveries of the long-range electric semis mark another notable commercial fleet conversion in European freight transport.
