Automotive startup Hoffman showcased its custom Badger prototype at SEMA, demonstrating how Tesla platforms can be repurposed into functional commercial vehicles. The company drove its 11-passenger electric van from Wisconsin to Las Vegas to prove its real-world capability and highway range. Hoffman aims to offer modular coachbuilt bodies, ranging from passenger shuttles to utility pickups, built directly on existing Tesla skateboards.
