Seattle to Install Up to 200 Curbside EV Chargers by 2030, Inviting Resident Requests
The City of Seattle is launching an initiative to deploy up to 200 public curbside Level 2 EV charging stations across residential neighborhoods by 2030. Designed primarily to support apartment dwellers and drivers without dedicated off-street parking, the program allows residents to request a charger near their homes. Municipal utility officials will evaluate proposed sites based on electrical grid capacity, street feasibility, and local demand.
