Rivian Plans Smart Assistant Upgrades for In-Car Ordering and Automated Service Scheduling

Rivian is preparing an extensive software overhaul that will introduce an upgraded digital assistant to its electric vehicles starting next year. The expanded system is designed to manage contextual daily requests, including placing mobile food orders and diagnosing vehicle alerts. According to Rivian software chief Wassym Bensaid, the technology will also proactively coordinate mobile service appointments to streamline vehicle maintenance.
