Rivian Discontinues R1 Standard Battery Option, Raising Entry Price to Over $81,000

Rivian has ceased offering the 'Standard' battery pack configuration for its R1T pickup and R1S SUV models, effectively increasing the base price by $7,000. New buyers will now find the 'Large' battery pack as the entry-level option, pushing the starting cost for both vehicles to $81,795.
