Polestar Exits U.S. Market Over Connected Car Data Regulation

Polestar has announced it will cease vehicle sales in the U.S. market, citing the complexities and costs associated with new data and privacy regulations for connected vehicles. While sales will halt, the brand's 32 dealerships will remain operational to provide service and sell existing inventory of the Polestar 3 and 4 models.
