Mitsubishi's "All-New" Eclipse Sportback EV is a Rebadged Nissan Leaf

Mitsubishi is set to re-enter the North American EV market after more than a decade with the 2027 Eclipse Sportback EV. Despite being touted as "all-new," the vehicle is reportedly a rebadged version of the next-generation Nissan Leaf, stemming from the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance. The new EV will feature updated exterior styling, but underneath, it shares its platform with Nissan's compact electric car.
