Mercedes-Benz Offloads European Fast-Charging Network to Local Operator

Mercedes-Benz has quietly exited its branded DC fast-charging business in Europe by selling its regional charging hubs to a local operator. The divestment marks a sharp pullback from the German luxury automaker's earlier ambitions to construct a proprietary public network across the continent. Mercedes continues to participate in the European Ionity consortium and is pursuing separate joint charging ventures in North America.
