Kia Drops Sorento PHEV Base Trim, Pushing Starting Price Past $55,000

Kia has discontinued the entry-level EX trim on the Sorento Plug-in Hybrid, effectively raising the electrified SUV's starting price by more than $5,000. Now starting at $55,385, the three-row PHEV is limited to premium configurations as it faces stiffer competition from rivals like the Mazda CX-90 PHEV.
