Hyundai Motor Türkiye Establishes New Battery Assembly Plant for IONIQ 3 Production

Hyundai Motor Türkiye (HMTR) is investing €55 million into a new battery assembly factory, supporting the upcoming production of its IONIQ 3 model, set to begin in August. This strategic move, part of a larger €715 million investment, will integrate battery cells with an advanced automation system in collaboration with Hyundai Mobis. The plant aims to bolster localized EV manufacturing capabilities in the region.
