hofer powerTec has commenced series production of its advanced battery disconnect unit (BDU) designed specifically for electric bus applications. This integrated control unit will be a key component in a new battery system developed by LION Smart, targeting commercial vehicles. The BDU plays a critical safety role by isolating the high-voltage battery in emergencies or for maintenance.
