Germany Hits Record 37% EV Market Share as Electric Sales Outpace Gas and Diesel
EUKBA
Battery-electric vehicles accounted for a record 37% of Germany's new vehicle registrations in October, tallying 94,086 units for a 79.5% year-over-year jump. Fully electric models outsold pure gasoline and diesel cars combined for the second consecutive month, according to federal motor transport authority KBA. The surge puts the country well ahead of auto industry EV forecasts with two months remaining in the year.
