Electrovaya Inks Deal to Supply Batteries for Janus Electric Heavy-Duty Conversions
Battery manufacturer Electrovaya has reached a strategic supply agreement with Australia-based Janus Electric to power heavy-duty commercial vehicle retrofits. Under the pact, Electrovaya will provide battery systems for Janus Electric's Class 8 diesel-to-electric conversions, which utilize modular, swappable battery packs. The initiative aims to accelerate fleet decarbonization by electrifying long-haul freight trucks without requiring lengthy stationary charging stops.
